Title: “Innovative Strategies and Concepts for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences”.  

Dates and venue: 18 – 20 April 2024, Tbilisi, Georgia

Aim of the conference: The aim of the conference will be presentation of the innovative interdisciplinary / cross sectoral programs, with special emphasize on the impact of such programs for the society and/or for training of physicians; how can ORPHEUS support those programs; what innovative approaches in teaching, learning, research and supervision are/can be offered even in running (with well-known design) PhD programs. How can universities and/or PhD programs “respond” to EUA Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment within existing practices in Biomedicine and Health sciences. 

We expect this conference will open opportunities for sharing experience, expertise and ideas fostering for action to develop quality of Doctoral Education and enhance their benefit for professional and more wide society. 

Format of the conference: keynote lectures, short communications (abstract presentations), panel discussions.
